Filip Dowjat

Biography
A photographer born in 1983 in Warsaw. He learned
patience from solarigraphy and reflexes from street photography.
He studied on the Fine Arts Faculty of Nicolaus
Copernicus University in Toruń, graduating with
a diploma with distinction in intermedia and multimedia
art under Prof. Marian Stępak and an annex in photography under Dr Witold Jurkiewicz. He developed wide-ranging interests in the visual arts as a co-founder of the Warsaw-based ODNOWA art group (2000-2010), an animator/motion designer and a film editor. From 2018 to 2020 he shared his experirnce as a lecturer at the Warsaw School of Advertising.
He has taken part in numerous collective exhibitions and in national and international competitions, receiving distinetions and prizes.

· 2024 First place in the photography competition "Pamięć "W" Kadrze" organized by Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego.
· 2024 Participation in the exhibition OFF "OPOLSKI FESTIWAL FOTOGRAFII".

· 2024 Second prize for a single photo "6. Ogólnopolski Konkurs Fotograficzny "POLSKA – KONTEKSTY".
